February Break TASKS (due Tuesday 2/27):
1. After you read the article (linked above), on a piece of loose-leaf paper, write 3 points that you found interesting or surprising, 2 questions that you still have, and 1 idea or term that you find confusing.
2. Then write a few sentences summarizing what you think the overall argument of the article is (consider the title, the main experts consulted, and the concluding points).
3. RESEARCH either Pepper the Robot OR Sophia, the Saudi Arabian robot who recently became a citizen. You may READ ARTICLES, WATCH VIDEOS on Youtube or TEDTalks, and LISTEN TO PODCASTS. Note people’s reactions to this technology.
4. On a separate sheet of paper, write a paragraph analyzing how Isaac Asimov used a literary development (setting, characterization, conflict, imagery, etc.) to develop a theme in the short story “Robbie
