Me and my best friend on Halloween night
When something popped a wheel on my bike!
(Might be from a vampire bite?)
The two holes might just be from spikes...
My friend's first name is missing.
(Well, I've forgot.)
Though his last name is king... maybe KIN.
He fixes my bike right up (with an e and d added to his first name).
Now what do you think?
Remind me... help me think!

You know how you want to be a kid forever, and never grow up? Well there was a boy like that, and you probably know him as Peter Pan, but what you don't know is the truth...
It was 1935 at Saint Matthew’s Orphanage in London, England. Peter Ackerman was an orphan, and he had friends that were also orphans. They called themselves the Lost Boys, but him they called Peter Pan. He was their leader, the boy who did whatever he wanted and never grew up. They didn’t have much at the orphanage, but they did have a cat named Snowbell; Peter always said that that fat cat didn’t like to do anything but eat and sleep. Every night, Peter and the Lost Boys played make believe games together. They didn’t have parents, but they had each other.
War was still going on, but that didn’t stop Peter or the Lost Boys from using their imaginations. One night, while Peter and the Lost Boys were playing, Ms. Abbey, owner of the orphanage, comes into the room.
“Now boys, it’s way past your bedtime,” said Ms. Abbey.
The boys whined as they walked to their beds.
“But Ms. Abbey, we’re not even tired and we were in the middle of playing Peter Pan,” Peter complains.
“I’m sure even Peter Pan goes to sleep sometimes,” Ms. Abbey smirks.
“No! Peter Pan is a boy that does whatever he wants and never grows up,” Peter shouted as he climbed into bed.
“Ms. Abbey tucked him and the other boys in.
“Good night, boys,” whispered Ms. Abbey. She turned off the lights and shut the door tight.
Only a couple of minutes passed and everyone was asleep, all except for Peter. Peter’s bed was right next to the window. Peter looked into the night sky, gazing upon the stars. Peter had read in a book once, about a place called Neverland, where only children are allowed. “Someday me and the boys are gonna go to Neverland, just past those stars.” Peter hopes aloud. He quietly cheers as a shooting star speeds down at his words.
What Peter thought was shooting star, though, was actually something much more devastating.
The bomb crashed directly into the orphanage, setting itself off and exploding all in a matter of second. The orphanage collapsed, leaving broken furniture and flames engulfing the building. Peter blacked out…
Peter woke up on the side of the street. He heard the ambulance and other loud sounds that filled the street. His eyes opened slightly and only saw a few things as he was carried to the ambulance. “The orphanage… my friends… Ms. Abbey… they’re gone…” Peter mumbled. Peter was put into the ambulance and Snowbell followed. Peter blacked out again.
Peter awakened in a hospital bed hearing the cries of a cat. But it wasn’t Snowbell – it was a kitten. Snowbell gave birth to a baby kitten, but Snowbell didn’t survive. Peter named the kitten Tinker Bell and put a little bell collar around her neck.
Two months later, Peter was released from the hospital and moved to another orphanage. This orphanage wasn’t anything like Saint Matthew’s. The owner of this orphanage was Ms. Byce; she was so much meaner than Ms. Abbey! She used the orphanage’s donation money on alcohol and drugs. The orphans were depressed and though that all of Peter’s ideas were stupid and childish. One night, Peter snuck into Ms. Byce’s bathroom and took the drugs he found there. They were mixed in a weird powder that came in a small bag. He didn’t know what it was exactly, so he named it pixie dust… “the one way ticket to Neverland,” Peter muttered as he took it.
Peter went back to the bedroom and woke up one of the boys in the room. “Hew, what are you doing?” the boy questioned.
“Taking you to a place where you can be free,” said Peter as he picked up an iron pipe and slammed it on the boy’s head.
Tinker Bell meowed.
“Don’t worry, Tink, we’ll be with the Lost Boys soon in Neverland.”
Peter dragged the boy’s body to his old orphanage that was nothing but rubble and ashes… He lays the body on the rubble and sets it on fire. “Now you can enjoy Neverland with the rest of the Lost Boys, free of adults and pain. In Neverland you can do whatever you want whenever you want, and the only rule is that you never grow up,” Peter says with a big grin on his face.
Tinker Bell meowed again.
“That’s right, Tink, it wouldn’t be fair for the other orphans or any of the other kids, really, stuck in this depressing world. Yes, let’s send them ALL to Neverland, just past those stars.”
Peter stood outside the new orphanage lighting matches…
“Police officers and detectives are now searching for a ten year old boy, Peter Ackerman, suspected of mass murder by setting the Byce Orphanage on fire, killing everyone in the building. Peter Ackerman suffers from a mental disorder. If you see Peter Ackerman, please do not engage with him but contact the police immediately,” says the new lady.
“Look, Tink, the grownups are looking for us. We’d better get all the kids to Neverland.”

“Why do we even have a race today anyway?” Chelsy asked Olivia as they changed into their running uniforms. It was Halloween afternoon, and the girls had a cross-country race in Prospect Park. It was their first cross-country race and most of them were upset because instead of going trick-or-treating with their friends, they had to run an extremely difficult race that was five kilometers.
“My boyfriend, Mason, is coming to support me,” Annalise blurted out. The girls turned and gave her a look as if they were all saying, who cares?
“Girl, you know we’re lonely and don’t have a boyfriend like you; stop showing off,” said Olivia to Annalise.
“You ladies have five minutes,” Coach Hunter interrupted and yelled from outside of the bathroom in the Picnic House. The girls swiftly bagged their belongings and rushed to the starting line. The official shot the gun in the air and the race began.
The girls started running and they decided to stay together. After a while, the girls began to slow down and eventually, there was a huge gap between them and the other runners who were in the front. “We need to catch up,” Chelsy said.
“I’m too tired. I can’t go any faster,” Olivia responded. The girls decided to stay together anyway, and began talking and joking around. “Where are we now?” Olivia asked the girls. The girls have been so distracted that they eventually lost the path of the race.
“Girls, it is Halloween and we are completely lost in the woods,” a girl whimpered. Instead of staying on the path, the girls found themselves lost in the middle of the woods in Prospect Park. There were ten girls among them. It started to get dark and the girls didn't know what to do. They began to cry for help, but no one answered.
“Girls, we can find our way back. We just need to stay together!” Annalise said. As she was speaking, the girls heard an unusual noise.
“What was that?” Chelsy asked. At that point, the girls were terrified. Suddenly, the unusual noise became louder and the girls began running faster. As Olivia turned around, she noticed a male figure with blue jeans, a gray shirt with a raven on the chest, and Timberland boots chasing them. The figure had a black mask over his face and a knife in his hand. The girls started running even faster and yelling for help. “Where’s Amanda?” Chelsy asked as they lost the masked guy.
Amanda was nowhere to be found. “The masked guy must have taken her,” Olivia said as she held Chelsy’s hand tightly.
“Ladies, we must be strong. We need to stick together. We can get through this,” Annalise said as she made the girls stop running. “First, we must find Amanda.” As she was speaking, Olivia noticed Maria was also missing.
“Maria is missing,” she cried. As she was speaking, the masked guy began chasing them again with his bloody knife. The girls began running again while screaming. “What is that thing? What does he want?” Olivia asked. With a burst of speed, the masked guy caught up to them and grabbed Katie by the arms. She screamed for her life, but the girls were too frightened to do anything. The masked guy viciously lifted his bloody knife and stabbed Katie in the heart. The girls became even more terrified and began sprinting for their lives.
Fortunately, the girls found a great hiding place which was a huge rock and they hid behind it. They watched the masked guy run by as they huddled quietly as a mouse. “We’re safe for now. We need to exit this park immediately,” Annalise told the girls. “If we keep going straight ahead, we’ll find our way.” Out of nowhere, the masked guy reappeared and he grabbed another girl, and stabbing her right on the spot. The girls began sprinting again without knowing where they were or where they were going. Suddenly, Miranda slipped and sprinkled her ankle.
“Wait for me,” Miranda yelled. The girls stopped for her and the masked guy mysteriously appeared once again and grabbed Miranda. The girls sprinted away once again. The masked guy chased and killed the girls for the entire night until Chelsy, Olivia, and Annalise were the only remaining girls.
As they were running, the girls noticed headlights going by and they saw a road. “Girls, we made it. Let’s get out of here,” Olivia said. When the girls exit the park and went home, it was around six in the morning. They reported the horrific incident to the police, but to their shock and to the police officers’ condescending sneers, when they searched the park there was no evidence of the masked guy or the bodies of the murdered girls.
The three girls went home to shower, but agreed to meet back up at school in a few hours. By 8am, Chelsy and Olivia were waiting anxiously by Annalise’s locker for her to get to school. Annalise’s boyfriend, Mason, passed by first, on his way to football practice, and asked them to swing by his locker to grab one of Annalise’s books for her. They quickly dashed down the hall, happy to have a distracting task to do.
When they got the locker open, though, horror crept across their faces, because not only was Annalise’s book – dripping with blood – in the locker, but so was the gray shirt with the raven on the chest, and a black mask.
“You can’t outrun ME,” Mason whispered from behind them.

Halloween wasn’t always about trick-or-treating or dressing up in costumes---nope, it was about monsters revealing their true identities and roaming around freely, killing whoever they pleased without anyone tying it back to them.
Among them were two vampires, a mother named Evangeline Le Rouge and a daughter named Crimson Le Rouge. Now these two have lived for thousands of years, feeding off the blood of humans and animals alike, but even though they love each other a lot, they get on each other’s nerves and fight almost constantly. Evangeline was Sovereign, and Crimson, being Evangeline’s daughter, was a Scion as well as a Primeval.
One day on the hunt, Evangeline and Crimson were disemboweling brown bears in Transylvania, drinking their blood and ripping out their guts and intestines, like normal, when Evangeline looked over at Crimson and that she was getting blood all over her outfit.
“Crimson, do you realize you’re getting blood all over yourself? You KNOW how hard it is to get blood out!”
Crimson stops eating and looks at her mother.
“MOTHER, it’s only hard to get blood out when it’s dried and the blood isn’t dry now -- it’ll come out easily, so just go back to eating your bear. I mean, like you said before, food is better warm than cold so you should just dig back in before the bear goes cold,” Crimson replied, before going back to messily slurping up intestines.
Evangeline was staring at her daughter, trying to process the attitude she had just heard come out of her daughter’s mouth.
“You’re going to scare away potential mates if you keep eating like you have no manners,” Evangeline finally says, popping the liver in her mouth and crossing her arms.
Crimson stops eating and stands, balling her fists up.
“Can we NOT talk about this right now? I TOLD you I’m not ready for a mate! I want to be my own vampire, and when I’m ready, I’ll find a mate and settle down with that being!” Evangeline growls, looking angrily at Crimson.
“How dare you growl at me little girl? I’m your mother and Sovereign. You should respect that and obey me.”
Crimson just looks at her mother and growls loudly before pouncing at Evangeline, claws and fangs bared...
To be continued.

"You know, your father wouldn't want you to eat that," Stephanie said while walking past a picture of Rebecca's family. Stephanie and Rebecca were roommates and best friends.
Despite them being best friends, Rebecca never opened up to Stephanie, but Stephanie could always see through her lies and could easily tell when something was wrong.
"Can we not talk about my father right now," Rebecca said while eating a bowl of Rocky Road and brownies. "Well if you were bleeding from your--”
"I hate to break it to you but the shedding of your uterine lining won't fix any cavities or stomach aches," Stephanie murmured while grabbing a bowl and Fruity Pebbles.
"I'm a big kid now," Rebecca sang, mimicking the children's commercial.
"Keep eating like that you'll be a fat kid," Stephanie said as she sat down.
"I'm going to the store. I'll be back," Rebecca said finishing her breakfast and putting her dishes in the sink.
She walked out the door and drove to the store. She began to patrol the aisles for what she was looking for: tampons, ice cream, brownies, cookies, and strawberries. The strawberries were a decoy. Rebecca knew if she came back home without at least one healthy item, Stephanie would make her take everything back. She walked to the cashier and took out her wallet. Out of the corner of her eye she swore she could see her father’s slim, yet muscular build watching her, but the figure crossed into an aisle she couldn't see. The familiar scent of Jack Daniels and vanilla pervaded the aisles.
"Um, hello? Are you gonna pay for the food or not? I have a job that I'd like to keep," the pubescent cashier said. Rebecca handed over the cash.
"You adults are weird. And we're supposedly the horrible generation."
Rebecca ignored the comments as her thoughts about her father began to race. Was that really him? How is he here? She grabbed the bags and ran to her car. She wasn't taking any chances.
She got in the driver's seat and looked through the windshield. Her father was standing about 10 yards away. Screaming, she locked the doors and attempted to put the key in the ignition. It wouldn't turn on.
She saw him walking.
He was getting closer and closer.
Struggling to get the key to turn, she looked down to investigate what was wrong. When Rebecca looked up, he was gone. The key turned, allowing the car to start, and she drove away as fast as she could.
Hot tears began to stream down her face as she began to remember memories of her childhood:
Her father stumbled into the house. He clutched a bottle of Jack Daniels in one hand and held onto the door with the other for support. He took a swig of the dark alcohol and slammed the door close.
“Sarah! Where the hell are you? You can’t hide from me forever. You thought you could just whore around with Robert and get away with it didn’t you?” He shouted at Rebecca’s mother.
“I told you that nothing happened. I’m your wife. You should be able to trust me to hang out with a few friends and remain loyal. You know I love you and I know you’re drunk. Just go to bed and I’ll take care of you...”
A loud “smack” was heard and Sarah held her throbbing cheek.
“That’s a bunch of bull! I swear I’m gonna—“
“Daddy,” a seven year old Rebecca said. “You said you would read to me tonight.”
“CAN’T YOU SEE I’M BUSY?!” he shouted while throwing the bottle at the wall closest to Rebecca. She ran back to her room as fast as her tiny feet could carry her. Her parents screamed all night long as she cried trying to make sense of what had transpired. It was then that she realized her father would hurt her the same way he hurt her mother.
She got to the house and immediately felt safe. She retrieved her bags and walked inside.
"That was fast," Stephanie said. "Your father said you usually take too long in stores deciding what you wanted to get."
"Can we stop talking about my father, please? This is getting really weird." Rebecca said while putting stuff away. She sat down and had tea with her sugar. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
"Well he came over. He said to tell you he was going to visit you soon."
Rebecca stopped before she took a sip. Her face became pale and turned a sickly greenish color. Stephanie obviously knew something was wrong: Rebecca was black., and that's not something you'd usually see on brown skin.
"What do you mean he came over?"
"I mean, he came over, we talked a bit, then he said he was going to come back after you came from the store."
"That's not my father", Rebecca said as she became fidgety.
"Of course it was. He looked exactly like the pictures. He had your baby picture-"
"In his wallet on the left side", Rebecca interjected quietly as she stared at the floor, deep in thought.
"Am I missing something?"
"Yeah", Rebecca started, "he's been dead for six years."
Rebecca began to smell her father's cologne.
... "I've missed you, Rebecca."

There I stood in my room, it was 4am
Heard whispers outside my window…
It was four grown men.
(Not even Halloween, and it has already began!)
Heard a thumping in my head.
(Was it my heartbeat?)
Think they’re coming inside...
(Lord, guide my feet!)
So I hid in the closet
As the floor began to creak.
My breath became heavier as they came towards me.
Only thing on my mind: “please don’t hurt me!”
The walking came to a halt.
I think they’ve heard me!!
(Please don’t hurt me)
I looked up, and there he was
on a scary black horse
with glowing red eyes and an all-black attire.
He had no head.
What could be his agenda?
I noticed a glowing sword as he continued closer…
I suddenly awoke to severe thunder.
I suddenly awoke? It was just a dream!
But I still hear those footsteps.
What could that even mean…?
