This week, you and your group mates began surveying information about your debate topic, identifying useful sources and collecting statistics, facts, examples, and expert opinions.
At the end of the week, you jointly composed a simple working thesis, stating your position and listing a "road map" of reasons/claims that you will be developing in support of your position. EACH GROUP MEMBER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING ONE CLAIM.
YOUR TASK --> In your shared google doc, compose a paragraph that clearly states the claim that you are responsible for, and use 2 - 3 strong pieces of evidence to support that claim. For each piece of evidence, provide a warrant, that is, a detailed EXPLANATION of how this piece of evidence supports your claim. Due before class on Monday 11/21.
In class on Monday we will be working on adding counterclaims and rebuttals to each of these paragraphs!
