HW: Read the two page handout on voir dire process. due Monday 10/31
Quiz on Monday 10/31 will include matching, multiple choice, and a few short answer questions. Be sure that you can identify characteristics of all 12 jurors, know key evidence from the case and important plot points from Act One, and understand the basic process and rules of voir dire.
*If you have been absent or late in the last week, do any make-up reading needed to feel comfortable with the full Act One of 12 Angry Men.
Read the court room scenario presented in the handout, and play the role of a juror, completing the tasks at the end. Be sure to pay attention to what key terms are brought up by the lawyers and the judge as they give you information and instructions.

Remember - your group needs to be ready to teach your courtroom topic to the rest of the class on Tuesday 10/11!
On your group's poster paper there should be:
1) at least two KEY TERMS, with definitions (add more as needed, depending on your topic)
2) the STRUCTURE (How is that court/jury/type of trial set up? How does it work?)
3) the FLOW of a case that enters the situation you've been studying (How does a case get to that court?)
