Depending on the date of your presentation, you need to be researching and preparing your handout over these next few weeks... (Full presentation schedules posted below!)
Step one is to research your topic & make a one-page handout showing what you've learned.
Step two is to present what you've learned about your topic, so that the whole class will be prepared to understand when Rushdie alludes to your topic in his novel.
During the class period when you present, we'll be reading the part of the novel where Rushdie alludes to your topic, and we will discuss the allusion in class!
Step three is to write an academic paragraph that explains how Rushdie alludes to your topic, and what this allusion adds to the novel - paragraph is due the day after you present.
